Academy (MWA)
Workforce training through public art.
MWA provides job training for emerging artists by pairing them with seasoned professionals to create large-scale public art projects, preparing participants for careers in the creative industry while offering schools, cities, and organizations the opportunity to commission impactful murals.
BAM (Bridge Academy Movement )
Reentry Through Workforce™
BAM provides justice-impacted youth with paid internships and workforce navigation that connect them to careers in the creative industries. As BHAC’s Reentry Through Workforce™ program, BAM creates pre-release training and post-release earn-and-learn opportunities that support youth as they return to and thrive in our shared communities while offering schools, cities, and organizations the opportunity to commission impactful murals

Media Youth Collective

Por Vida Media Youth Collective gives young people ages 14–24 the tools and space to explore broadcasting, podcasting, photography, beat-making, and digital media — while claiming their voice and telling their story without compromise.

BAM trains students in audio production, podcasting, interviewing, and scriptwriting. Youth produce and air content on KQBH 101.5FM, sharing real stories from the neighborhood.

Boyle
Heights Youth Festival
Annual celebration of youth creativity & community power.
A vibrant day of music, art, dance, and local storytelling — all created and led by youth. The festival is open to the public and features performances, installations, and vendor booths.

POD PALS
Pod Pals is a youth led podcast inspired by old school pen pal projects with a technological twist. Participants learn how to record themselves and edit the final episode alongside our team.
