TEACHING
ARTISTS
Our Teaching Artists are practicing professionals with dual careers as artists and educators. Trained in Restorative Cultural Arts™ Praxis, they bring healing, creativity, and cultural knowledge into schools, parks, community centers, and juvenile and adult correctional facilities.
Together, more than 100 active Teaching Artists—part of the 175 we’ve supported over the past decade—share their skills, connect with one another, and cultivate the next generation of creators across our shared communities.
Interested in becoming a Teaching Artist, meentor, femtor, or themtor with BHAC? We provide training in our Restorative Cultural Arts™ Praxis and offer opportunities to teach, lead, and collaborate across schools, camps, community spaces, and reentry programs.
