We welcome over 2500 guests to start off their Summer with live performances, activities, resource, games, and of course paletas! BHYFest is a celebration of what our collective communities can do when we come together. We look forward to welcoming you back.
From the very beginning BHYFest has been an effort of our local youth to create, produce, and run an event that comes from their creative minds. BHYFest is a way to explore hidden talents and gain new skills. We have committees for live music, sports activities, resource partners, marketing and promotion, and logistics. All youth receive the official 2023 BHYFest t-shirt and committee members get a stipend. Volunteer form is at the bottom of the page.
BHYFest is a block party on 1st street. We want to encourage visitors to walk, skate, roll, pedal, and take advantage of the easy access to metro and bus lines. We are dog friendly and accessible and will offer lots of water stations to keep everyone hydrated.
